Why are there up to Three Shipping Charges?
Short Answer:
I use three different vendors.
- Paper & Ink Studio handles all of the Fine Art Open and Limited Editions.
- BayPhoto handles the Ready to Hang line: Metal & Acrylic representations.
- Gooten handles fun pieces like magnets, mugs, and tote bags.
Since each vendor is located in a different part of the US your items will arrive separately.
Long Answer:
Being an Artist and sharing my work means making choices on how to best present it to the world. Just because I finished a piece, does not mean it is truly done. Though my pieces look really nice being viewed on a screen, they are meant to live and grow alongside you, meeting you where you are at, as you return again and again to them. The people and companies I choose to carry on this process are key to this. There is an amount of collaboration that must happen in order for me to pass my work on to you. Though there are companies that can ‘do it all’, sometimes there’s a lack of connection between the Artist and the fulfillment company, and that can be felt through the piece. Every option for representation of my work that is currently available has been thought through, details such as vendor responsiveness to issues that may arise, quality control checks, packaging, samples inspected, and more have been considered. Please know that nothing was just ‘slapped together’ to get it to you.
Paper & Ink Studios, Missoula MT USA When handing off the responsibility of printing, as a Photographic Artist, I want someone who knows not just how to help me create a great print, but who also understands that our collaboration in and of itself is a connection that is not taken lightly. Which is why all of the Fine Art Paper Editions, both Open and Limited Editions are handled by Paper & Ink Studios in Missoula, MT USA. Marcy James and her team are by far some of the best print artists I have had the pleasure of working with. Currently her clients include some of the top National Geographic Photographers such as Ami Vital, along with being the US printer for the non profit Vital Impacts, and collaborates with many other artists and organizations. Marcy, an accomplished Artist, understands the importance of matching the medium to the piece, her eye for detail, color, and presentation is an amazing thing to have turned on your own work. Every print is examined for quality and details of pieces are discussed. Her experiences with national exhibitions, and as a working artist, mentor, and educator are keys to her ability to pull the best out of an artist. Sustainability is not just important to me, but also to Paper & Ink. Paper & Ink has partnered with One Tree Planted, along with choosing paper companies that are committed to reducing their carbon foot print. If you would like to learn more about Paper & Ink Studios and their process, I encourage you to visit their website, and if you are an Artist looking for a printer, check out the Learn More Page. https://www.paperandinkstudio.com/home
BayPhoto, California, USA On a whim I decided to play around with the idea of printing on other mediums beyond paper. Though my first love is and will always be Fine Art Papers, I definitely have room in my heart to play around and experiment with other mediums. This is where Bay Photo comes in. I have enjoyed the samples of the Metal and Acrylic mediums, some of my images just pop with wow, in a way that is fun and very additive to the pieces themselves.
Gooten, NYC, USA Gooten has been fun to play around with, I am particularly fond of their metal magnets and like that I can offer you my work in such a fun way. Not gonna lie, having my work on your fridge would be an honour, and I’d love to be sent a pic.
FOR LIMITED EDITIONS Please allow additional time as I inspect for the highest quality, sign and number each piece individually before shipping to collectors. Shipping times range from 7-14 business days. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as available.
